Join our Culinary Team as the Chef de Cuisine of The Club at Kalea Bay in beautiful North Naples, Florida! The Club at Kalea Bay is a relaxed yet elegant modern property with 88,000 square feet of amenity features that of a five-star resort, including three pools, expansive decks, a state-of-the-art wellness center, and two newly decorated restaurants. The Club at Kalea Bay continues to grow and is excited to offer an opportunity to be a part of this exceptional and progressive Culinary Team.
Our modern resort-style property houses two a la carte restaurants and three beverage outlets including The Adult Pool Bar, The Driftwood Café and Drift Bar, and our signature restaurant and lounge The Salt & Oak Restaurant. Each one of these Food and Beverage locations has been developed to create a relaxed environment for members to gather with their guests, dine with 5-star service, and create memorable experiences.
Along with the Executive Sous Chef and our outstanding Culinary Team, the Chef De Cuisine at The Club at Kalea Bay will be pivotal in supervising the restaurant's day-to-day kitchen activities. Directly supervising kitchen staff responsible for daily preparation, assisting with monthly inventories, pricing, and cost controls while consistently maintaining standards of quality, cost, eye appeal, and flavor of foods. At the Club at Kalea Bay the Chef De Cuisine's creativity will be a focal point as he or she develops farm-to-table menus that engage our members and enhance their dining experience.
Education/Experience:
A degree or college diploma or equivalent in food and beverage management and/or hotel management is preferable.
Food hygiene certificate.
Supervisory experience working in a high-quality restaurant/establishment.
Experience in managing people and motivating a team.
Health and safety experience desirable.
Preferably candidates have experience as a Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, Banquet Chef, or Executive Chef within the Restaurant Industry
